Nowhere Connect Weaver
The Nowhere Connect Weaver is the heart of the vessel’s connectivity, combining all available links into one seamless, encrypted and intelligently managed connection. Using proprietary maritime-optimized multipath technology, it connects the vessel through Nowhere Networks’ own radio-based network, LTE/5G, and LEO or GEO satellites. Weaver continuously monitors link performance, availability and cost, automatically selecting and balancing traffic across the most efficient paths. It operates at the session level and dynamically moves active sessions – including video calls, cloud applications, payment systems and VPN tunnels – between links without interruption. Even under rapidly changing maritime conditions.
Nowhere Connect SD-WAN
The Nowhere Connect SD-WAN solution securely extends the vessel’s onboard network to the corporate data center, enabling seamless integration between ship and shore. Using Weaver as the secure transport layer, onboard systems can communicate directly with corporate infrastructure on land. This allows secure access to internal servers and applications, routing of specific traffic such as payment transactions through corporate firewalls, centralized telephony services and unified security policies. Delivered as a fully managed service, it supports multiple connectivity types and includes dynamic routing (BGP and OSPF), redundancy, traffic segmentation and fully encrypted corporate tunnels.
Nowhere Connect Shaper
The Nowhere Connect Shaper analyzes, classifies and prioritizes all network traffic onboard, from ship systems to crew and passenger Wi-Fi. It dynamically allocates available bandwidth, prioritizing essential traffic such as admin systems, IoT and payments over less critical usage like streaming and social media. This ensures the best possible user experience and maintains service even when bandwidth is limited. Traffic rules and priorities can be configured according to the customer’s own requirements, giving full control over what matters most.
Nowhere Connect Crew
The Nowhere Connect Crew provides a secure Wi-Fi entry point tailored for crew members. It manages login, authentication and user profiles, and works together with the Nowhere Connect Shaper to allocate bandwidth fairly and efficiently. The solution connects to Nowhere’s cloud for centralized control and can support integration with single sign-on systems (SSO).
Nowhere Connect Guest
The Nowhere Connect Guest is the first touchpoint for passengers connecting to onboard Wi-Fi. It provides a branded, multilingual experience for accessing the internet, and the possibility to offer services and upgrades to premium packages. Integrated with Nowhere Connect Shaper and our cloud systems, it supports analytics, user management and advertising, creating new opportunities for monetization through vouchers, cards and promotional offers.
Nowhere Connect Pay
The Nowhere Connect Pay is fully integrated with the captive portals and supports credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and vouchers. It enables operators to easily sell Wi-Fi access, premium services or time-based packages through a secure and seamless payment experience.
