3. Site Survey

Next, we perform a site survey – digital or physical – to plan the installation. We identify tracker positions, cabling routes, rack layout, and space for our equipment (typically two servers, two switches, and four PoE units). We prepare everything down to the last cable.

4. Agreement and Project Start

Once the proposal is approved and the contract signed, the project begins. Our team takes full responsibility for the rollout. We install our equipment on board, integrate it with the ship’s existing IT infrastructure, and coordinate configuration together with the customer’s network operations.

5. Commissioning

We connect the vessel to our network and verify that every component – from antennas to onboard software – works flawlessly. The system automatically connects to the best available bearer (land-based, LEO, LTE, or VSAT) to ensure uninterrupted service throughout the vessel’s route.

6. Operation and Continuous Optimization

After commissioning, Nowhere Networks takes full operational responsibility. We continuously monitor, optimize, and upgrade the network. Our Operations Center proactively identifies issues before they affect performance, manages bandwidth dynamically, and ensures optimal use of available capacity. If anything happens, our team handles troubleshooting and fault correction – so the customer doesn’t have to.
