The new route, operating six sailings per week between Ireland and France, represents one of the most significant new ferry connections between Ireland and mainland Europe in recent years. From day one, passengers and crew will benefit from a modern connectivity platform designed to support the demands of long-distance sea travel.
The solution combines high-speed passenger WiFi, intelligent traffic management and a user-friendly onboarding portal, giving travellers easy access to internet services throughout the 21.5-hour crossing.

In addition to passenger WiFi, the deployment includes connectivity services supporting onboard operations, administration and crew communications. The platform is designed specifically for maritime environments and combines multiple technologies to deliver reliable performance throughout the voyage.
The new Cork–Boulogne-sur-Mer route has capacity to carry more than 250,000 passengers annually and establishes a new direct link between Ireland and Northeastern France.
